Due to their outstanding performance, A.M.S. GLADSTONE & A.M.S. 1803 has generated extensive interest to the local construction companies through their involvements in various landmark projects, (APLNG, GLNG, and QCLNG on both barges and Brisbane Riverwalk for A.M.S. GLADSTONE).
A.M.S. GLADSTONE secured another contract to assist in a project located at Wiggins Island, Gladstone QLD to be commenced immediately as soon as her contract for the Brisbane Newfarm Riverwalk ended. Remedial works have been carried out and she will be then demobilised to Sydney, NSW.
A.M.S. GLADSTONE, a 180ft x 70ftx 14ft is equipped with 4 point mooring system (with 30T winches) and internal spud keepers, and has deck load rating of 25t/m2 which allows her to carry up to 3,200T of cargo deadweight.
Similarly, shortly after the completion of her involvement in GLNG, A.M.S. 1803, a 180ft x 70ft x 14ft Deck Cargo Ballast Tank barge has been engaged to assist in the Gore Bay Terminal Project in Sydney, NSW. A.M.S. 1803 has been providing crane support to the new MR fender installation for the terminal construction project in Gore Bay Wharf 1. Currently installed at the aft end of the barge is a 250T Kobelco Crawler Crane with a 54.9m boom length.
By late September 2014 A.M.S. GLADSTONE and A.M.S. 1803 will be available ex-Sydney, ready to participate on more projects over the eastern states.
